Cwmni Addysg Rhyw can offer one to one relationships and sex education for individuals whose capacity to engage in sexual relations is in question
Our highly experienced practitioners will work with individuals to cover the key areas of understanding which are required to be able to legally engage in sexual relations;
■ the mechanics of the sexual act; what is sex - depending on the type of sex you might be having
■ the potential consequences and/or health risks of sexual intercourse – pregnancy (depending on who is having sex) and/or STIs
■ that the risks STIs and/or of pregnancy can be reduced by taking precautions such as using condoms and/or contraception
■ that you and the the other person have the right to say no to sex and can communicate this
■ the other person must also have the capacity to consent to the sexual activity and must consent before & throughout the sexual activity.
Cwmni Addysg Rhyw work with the individual and supporting parties to assess and establish areas of priority need and can provide education around other areas such as healthy relationships, the Sexual Offences Act or sexual health as required or appropriate.
